Wry protagonist and lovable secondary characters make this a relatable story I look forward to reading!

It was hard to tell if the narrative style would be exhilarating or exhausting at first, but because of the urgency with which the author got to the first critical experience, I was hooked.

Describing the doctor as having been "defeated by pastry" and the play with which the author asked his rescuer about salvaging him from disaster were indicative of the protagonist's wry humor which I hope will carry through the entire saga.

I enjoyed the loveable treatment of the secondary characters and will have a hard time waiting to see what happens next!
