Virgil Wander suffers memory loss after being in a car accident, and when he's sufficiently recovered he begins to make his way back into his life and realizes it seems just a little bit off from what he thinks it should be. I really enjoyed the writing style, many authors seem to struggle with incorporating descriptive details and emotions without overdoing it, but this is beautifully subtle and balanced.
