Leif Enger is back with a new story taking place in Lake Superior. Virgil survives an accident, but his memory is altered, allowing him to experience his life from a fresh perspective. I'm excited to meet this cast of characters. Historically, Enger's portrayal of Midwestern quirks and foibles has been spot-on and I can't wait to see what is in store for Virgil and his family and friends.
