Like many people are, but hate to admit, I'm a bit of a book cover snob. There have been multiple times where I've avoided a highly rated book simply because it's cover was awful. Similarly, I've overlooked hundreds of negative reviews because of a beautiful cover. It's incredibly vain to admit, but no one's perfect, right? I'm incredibly happy to find that Enger's writing fits this novel's beautiful cover. The excerpt provided to me was wonderfully written with a great concept, and has definitely left me wanting the finished product. I look forward to finishing this novel, as well as looking into the author's past work. . .
