Virgil Wander seems like an interesting character, although the short sneak peek does not give away enough about him. After an accident, Virgil becomes away of the failings of his life. What he does with this epiphany is anyone's guess and I am intrigued enough that I would read the rest of the book. The cover does give that small town feeling and is in keeping with what I know about the novel.
