Rarely has a book drawn me into the story within the first 2 pages but this one did! The descriptions of the location, events, and characters make you feel you are living in the moment with the lead character. Who is this Rune and what is his story? Why is Alec so memorable to all in the town? What will Virgil do in his "new life"? This is a must read to find the answers!
