An interesting take on a coming of age story, in a way

I love books set in small, rural towns - because the heartbeat of the community is so essential to the story. On top of the setting, I think this book has a lot of potential to be thought provoking. In a way it's just like a coming of age story - the protagonist is trying to figure out who he is, with the help of and, in certain moments, probably in spite of the ideas others may be giving him about who he is and should be. I can't wait to read this!
