I don't read many stories set in the Midwest, but this one was immediately enchanting. I fell in love with Virgil as a character and I am fascinated to see where his story goes in the future. The atmosphere of a Midwestern small town is one that I'm intimately familiar with and something seems just slightly off about this one.
