This is they first time I have read a book written by a blogger! The author has been posting on Tik Tok, Youtube, and Instagram channels for 10 years! I don't like social media so I only go on Youtube to learn how to fix things, like my car or the computer. However, I realize I am an anomaly. Her best recommendation is to learn to love yourself first, before you can appropriately model the behaviour you want your children to copy. It's a great point and one that is taught in all the Early Childhood Programs in North America. She says that it is easy to doubt yourself, and "Kids learn how to cope with emotions through their experiences with their parents." This seems obvious, but since parenting doesn't come with a "how-to" book, you might want to read this one! In essence she is promoting "emotion regulation," in order to cope with life and become a well-adjusted adult.
