I am not a parent, but I do work with young children. As a nanny, some of Destani Ann Davis’ advice was relevant while other parts are less so. The writing is encouraging and she begins by having the reader look back at their own childhood and consider what they needed from their own parents. It seems like common sense, but…that’s not so common anymore. Hopefully this book will give new parents the confidence to be the parent they needed when they were small!!
