The slightly stilted cover photo is the author doing her best to look winsome and personable. She may indeed be winsome and personable, but I am not a parent, and if I were I do not think I would want to "awaken the empowered parent within." So, best of luck to anyone who wants to use "positive discipline" in "today's most challenging parenting scenarios." Perhaps they will find this book helpful.
