This book is fantastic. The twists keep coming and all but one of them I did not see going the way it did. Seelie is a complex character who struggles with her own abilities. Reading that struggle play out helps to connect with her as a protagonist in the best way possible.
The writing is done in such a way that you are drawn into the world and feel as though you are living out the words you are reading on the page. With just enough descriptions to help you along but not so much that is drags on as can happen in fantasy novels from time to time.
Not only is the protagonist written well, so are all of the side characters. You feel like you know the people you are reading about as if you live your life with them. And the ending just leaves me wanting more. I want to know more about this world and the characters that live inside of it. I cannot wait to see what happens next and how they continue to grow and develop.
