This book caught my attention with the autistic main character and the sister relationship. The cover is beautiful and very eye catching as well. I really enjoyed this young adult fantasy. The pacing was good and the characters stood out from your typical young adult fantasy characters. I enjoyed seeing an autistic main character be represented in what I thought was a genuinely good light. The bond between the sisters was lovely and the fact that this story wasn't centered around a romantic relationship but a familial one was what really impressed me. The characters do read a little too young on the young adult spectrum for my liking but because there wasn't a romance at the forefront I was able to enjoy their characters without all the young adult drama that comes with romance in stories. I would definitely recommend this to others as something that stands out.
