I was first drawn to this book by its pretty cover and title - Unseelie. Reading its summary suggests an interesting and refreshing concept and reading through the first two chapters did not disappoint. A YA fantasy that includes magic, the Fae realm and sisterly relationships - this is exactly the type of book that I love reading! I absolutely love that the character is an autistic changeling. The author writes in a very descriptive way that really paints a picture of what is going on. I wasn't able to get too much of a sense of this new world, the two sisters and their relationship in only two chapters, but I am hopeful that the rest of the novel will allow for some good world-building. Overall, it is definitely a very promising excerpt to an interesting book concept - I can't wait to read the rest and hopefully, it lives up to its promise!
