interesting
Even though this book wasn’t one of my favorites, ‘Unseelie’ was definitely worth the read, and it had some very interesting and uniquely described atmospheric aspects.. I personally am typically not a huge fan of fairie books, fantasy, or YA books, but this one was a honestly a pretty good read! It seemed slightly reminiscent of classic Grimm’s fairy tales to me, and could be described as a high stakes fantasy. The family dynamic and characters were decently well developed and thought out, and I I loved and appreciated the neurodivergent representation. It did appear to me that the plot got a little bit lost halfway through this book, and didn’t seem super thought out, but it was still a very interesting adventurous read, and I’m very thankful that I was able to receive a copy of this book from Bookish First before it was published.
