I went into this book expecting the typical fae young adult book. I was pleasantly shocked to find a unique world and a new take on changelings and their lore. In this book, it suggest that changelings in history were actually children with autism and people just didn't know how to explain it so they automatically assumed it was magic. The main character, Seelie, is autistic and she goes on an adventure with her twin sister along with two unexpected people. I loved the relationship between Seelie and her sister. Sibling relationships are one of my favorite tropes in stories. It's just so heartwarming to see. I loved the story and where it ended up going. The plot got insane at the end and I can't wait to see what happens with a new little character that was introduced in the last few pages of the book. The sequel is going to be amazing and I cannot wait!
