The cover is stunning! I love the contrast of the sisters on the cover with the color variation. This book was already on my radar for new releases but reading that it has disability representation makes me want it more. I love the depiction that the twin sisters are so different. The magic system sounds complex, but not overly complicated. Magic, Fae, and mystery... what could be better? The writing style is easy to follow and descriptive in the right ways. I love the idea that the two of them are all they have, and yet they seem to come against challenges that will take them apart. It has all the makings to be a favorite release of 2023.
I do wish that it was told from both sisters' perspectives, so that the representation was equally distributed. I understand that it is more geared towards Iselia for a reason, but I would still like to know more about Isolde.
