The first sentence immediately transported me into the world while also tickling my memories of when I first read "Savage Lands." The idea of the fae and human worlds colliding is exciting and easy to engage with.

The story would likely be a great fit for fans of Holly Black or May Sage. The story integrates humor and world-building, and I found myself drawn to both Iselia and Isolde. I appreciated the Autism representation in the book, which was great because there's so little of it currently on the market.

The pacing of this book was amazing and it kept me engaged from the first page to the very last one. I think my favorite part was the idea of found family and getting to know their new partners in crime. I won't spoil anything here but I thought it was an insightful and engaging read that would appeal to many readers across different age groups and interests.
