This First Look at Unseelie by Ivelisse Housman plunges the reader right into a magical world: "On the night the faerie world collides with ours, anything can happen." I enjoyed the depiction of Revelnox, a lively festival that swirls around our main characters, Seelie and her sister Isolde, in the opening chapter. It's also great to see autistic representation in a fantasy novel! While fairy/fae fantasy is not one of my go-to genres, I can see this novel appealing to many teen readers, and for that reason I'm interested in reading on!
