A book pitched as Six of Crows meets the Iron Fey? You've got my attention. The narrator immediately hooked me and I love her internal monologue so much!
The end of chapter two is what really made me want to keep reading, it's so mysterious and intriguing. The characters introduced in these first three chapters are done so diligently and somehow you really fall in love with them all. This gives me similar feelings that The Cruel Prince, and I cannot wait for this book to come out!

The dark setting and the beginnings of such an enchanting world, both in the Seelie and Unseelie Courts and the mortal world were so well done that I really felt like I was right there with them, watching from the sidelines as Raze flirted with Iselia and the moment that Leira joined the festivities.

The best words to describe the beginning of this story are enchanting and magical, dark and mysterious. I'm hooked.
