I'm sure there will be plenty to readers for this--it's a popular genre, given how many books like it are out there. But that's also the problem. For me, as someone who isn't the target audience for this, there's nothing that really captured my attention. The writing is fine, the cover is ok (though has a self published feel to it rather than something coming out of a Big 5), but it all feels "already done."
