While it took a little bit for the story to draw me in, I ended up really enjoying this excerpt! I was slightly confused about how the protagonist is a changeling, apparently meant to take her sister's place, yet both her and her sister were raised together. Otherwise, I thought the storyline seems interesting, and the characters are compelling as well. The magic was a fun addition, and I enjoyed the diverse representation just in these first few chapters!
