I know that this author is on the Autism spectrum and writes a character that reflects her own thoughts and experiences (is Autistic herself). I think that makes this book so special in itself and really important to be able to read and understand a different way of thinking. So obviously I’m really excited about Seelie, but I also can’t wait to see more of the sisterly relationship with Isolde. The beginning is a fresh new world with a very exciting plot. I can’t wait to see what happens with the compass and also the other duo after the treasure! A really great start!
