The first few pages of this book drew me in so much! The way the beginning gives you a glimpse of the variety of cases he’s worked on made me definitely wanting to read more of this book! I remember some of these cases being so big in the news and to read someone’s experience directly with them was very eye opening (even if it was just a few pages that I was able to read)
I love that it’s his first hand account of these cases and his experience with them. I also enjoyed reading how him retiring was hard for him to leave since cold cases was such a big part of his life. I feel like that makes us relate more to him realizing how much cold cases and being a detective impacted him and his family. I loved the cover as well. The newspaper clippings put together to make this cover really drew me in and caught my attention from the beginning. I cannot wait to read the rest of this!!
