It was scary but really good
This book was honestly hard for me to put down, which is ironic considering I almost never read true crime. I don’t know if it was the cases that just drew me in or what, but I couldn’t stop reading. Reading about all these cases definitely made me feel for the victims and their family, but whenever they wet caught it was definitely very satisfying. I will say that there was definitely a lot of very graphic details so if you can’t handle that then don’t read this. It also talks heavily about rape and sexual assault. It was definitely very eye-opening to read about a cold case detective’s thoughts and experiences instead of just reading about a horrific crime.
I will say that the writing style also was very easy to read. The only parts that dragged a little bit was when the book was talking about DNA sampling and testing, mainly cause I don’t know anything about that. But overall, the book was a great book.
