Great book
First off, I am a huge true crime fan. I watch a lot of true crime shows and have just started scratching the surface on true crime podcasts.
The appeal of true crime for me is more about the why a person commits such crimes and the psychology and sociology behind it. The author did an amazing job showing how his obsession with his cases took a toll on his life. Paul also showed us that never giving up and always pursuing a cold case can help eventually solve it, but at a detriment to himself.
I enjoyed reading about all of the cases and crimes within this book and new about the majority of them. Paul did a great job of bringing all of the details of the cases to light. I would definitely read another book by this author and I am excited to find his podcasts and start listening. Overall, I think this is a good look at some of the more well known cold cases and would recommend this to anyone who enjoys true crime.
