True crime books keeps me up all night reading. By far one of my favorite genres
I remember the Peterson case being so big in the news, the pictures of Scott and Laci on every channel. That story is forever burned into my brain. So to then read someone’s experience directly with them was very eye opening- it is a small part of the book, but something I connected with since I remember it so well.
Paul writes this book in a respectful way for the victims and their families. He writes about his own life and being married to the job. The challenges he faced in the cases as well in his personal family life.
He’s retired now, but doesn’t seem too settled into a life without solving crimes.
If you like true crime then this is absolutely the book for you!
