This book is the intriguing, true account of seasoned veteran Paul Holes in cold cases dating back as far back as the 1970s. This book makes you feel so many emotions, empathy and sadness for his panic attacks, his first divorce, and the people he became very close with and lost along the way. He delved into cold cases when others didn't and brought justice to many people, including all the friends and family of the Golden State Killer. Even after his retirement, he continues helping authorities to solve cold cases and has been on popular TV shows and has wrote other books. I recommended this book on a true crime Facebook page I follow and definitely want to see and to read more from this author. He is a truly compassionate man with a big heart and has found his true calling in life, to give those families closure after many years. I highly recommend this book if you enjoy reading the true crime genre.
