Unmasked is Paul Holes' story of a constant investigative mind. It led him to look beyond the scope of his assigned job and made him dig deeper into cold cases. I have personally watched some of his interviews and work so I was excited to read this book and it did not disappoint.
It becomes a bit bogged down in the beginning of the last chapter where they are discussing using the DNA evidence in conjunction with genealogy websites, they tell all of the people and hoops that they must go through and it just seems a bit jumbled and excessive as well as confusing with all of the names and districts.
But overall I was completely hooked and barely put it down. So interesting to read about all these cases and his experiences in the field. I am hoping that he decides to write another book and go into more of his work and life because this one was so amazing.
