If you think you don't like nonfiction, you will be surprised at how this book is as much a page-turner as any fiction thriller. No matter how many crime detective books or news articles you may have read, nothing will compare to this. The writing takes away one's breath for its utter sadness; and everything is true. The first person narrator grabs the reader's attention in the Prologue; the red Clown Room setting would be funny if the memories weren't also so serious, so devastating. There may be moments when a reader will have to pause because the author's ability to convey the horror of crime scenes will make the readers feel as if they are experiencing it first hand. A powerful book.
