Reading the first look, I felt like I was there. Paul Holes is a very visceral writer. He brings the cases he worked to life. I felt like I was part of them - even when I didn't want to be - I was uncomfortable and creeped out. I can see a lot of people being interested in his line of work, but I also think you need to be the right type of reader for this book because it is gruesome and so real.
