I've been fascinated by true crime since I was 8 and Jon Bennet Ramseys case was all over the press. I remember connecting the ransom amount matched the fathers Christmas bonus and my mom was blown away. I unfortunately never got to go into forensics or criminology like i wanted so i live vicariously through true crime books. I've never read one from the perspective of someone investigating and how it affected them until this sneak peak and i am in absolute love. I cant think of a single negative thing thus far. I'm predicting this will be my favorite book of the year, if not ever.
