The first thing that caught my eye besides the interesting cover was the fact that it wasn't fiction. I have often wondered how people in that line of work can keep going after seeing how dark human beings can go. When someone has seen the darkest corners of a killer's mind, how can they live like everyone else?
This book sounds super interesting and a way to have all these questions answered from one point of view. A part of me wants to read it out of curiosity and another is scared to go down that road.
