I'm intrigued by Unmasked: My Life Solving America's Cold Cases by Paul Holes. The author worked as a cold case investigator for decades prior to his retirement in 2018. I'm a little nervous as to the amount of time the narrator (Paul) spends in his own head -- a fair amount of the first look is introspection -- but intrigued enough that I cashed in points to give this book a try.
The cover is OK. It communicates what the book will be about well enough, but I can't help but think it could have had a bit more pizzazz.
