This book shares brutal honesty from the get-go and hard to read about his cases and the victims. It was fascinating to see the perspective of a detective who has seen some of the most horrendous cases and dealt with horrifying crimes. It was interesting to see some familiar names that had been on the news and cases that are well known shared from the memory of a cold-case detective. This is an engaging read whose reality is scary enough to keep you up all night.
