Graphic but gripping.
Very compelling start and slick writing style. The focus is all over the place but not in a bad way and the concept is fresh. Unmasked is a true crime memoir and it immediately delves into a variety of cases but also examines the effect these cases have on the psyche of those working on them. Curious to see where it leads. About the cover- I like the newsprint snippet style and how it ties into the subject matter but it’s not eye-catching. Seems like it would get lost in a crowd of louder-looking books.
