I read 'I'll Be Gone In the Dark' by Michelle McNamara that detailed her search for the Golden State Killer (the name she coined). It was a heartbreaking read and it was sad that Michelle never got to see this horrible person brought to justice.
Having read her story, I'm interested in reading about the case from the perspective of the detective that spent most of his career trying to bring justice to all of the victims. Paul tells the story of the toll his career took on his personal life, but he did it so that the victims would have a voice. Looking forward to picking this one up.
