We often hear about how the killer was caught in the news; in fiction we are confronted with the killer's point of view, but in my opinion, the best point of view is that of the detective who tracked the killer. In my reading, it was just this that captured by attention - the voice of the detective and what it was he was going through not only in the case but also in his life. I liked the "voice" of this detective and would like to know exactly how he captured the bad guys, and how exactly this obsession had an effect on his life. The writing style is inviting, and honest; I'd definitely read more to get to the end of this story.
