I don't often read nonfiction books, but I'll probably have to make an exception for this.
The writing is really good. It's darkly beautiful. It's haunting, but it's also writing that draws a reader in. It makes you want to read more even when the subject should make you want to read less.
I also had to look up this book because the writing also seems similar to the writing I traditionally get in fiction books. I'm taking it as a positive.
I can't promise that this book will hold my attention all the way through, but I'm definitely interested in continuing to read it.
