What does it say about me that I recognized all the cases mentioned in this excerpt? I suppose it shows that I am at least slightly as obsessed as Paul as seeing some kind of justice for the victims and their families. Nothing can change what happened, but knowing a monster is still out there, living their life, and maybe biding their time until they strike again is truly the stuff of nightmares. This sounds like a very good inside look at the crimes that haunted and defined the author's life.
