True crime has always been my bread and butter so I was curious when this book popped up. Initially, I wasn’t a fan of the writing style; it felt very much like a novel and not a nonfiction read. And yes, that’s usually how I prefer it, but for a hot minute I wasn’t sure which I was actually reading. However, it smoothed itself out fairly well and quickly became a page turner for those of us obsessed with the genre. Part memoir, part hunt for the killer, it promises to be a thrilling read straight to the end.
