A well written mystery! The discovery of the murdered nun set off the story in an attention grabbing way and the clear implications of a cover up give a looming feeling of something sinister. I constantly start second guessing who could have had a hand involved in the dark history of that particular crime, but I found myself extremely surprised at the conclusion of the mystery! All the characters had a well crafted essence that made them feel similar to people I know in some ways and it made the story feel a lot more real despite the thrilling plot. I didn't read any of the books prior to this one and I felt like I was able to enter this particular series quite well without any knowledge beforehand. I highly recommend this book to anyone that enjoys reading mystery thrillers.
