This book was really creepy. I don't usually read horror/suspense, so this was an interesting ride but one I was happy I took. Jane is called to investigate a case where a coffin is found, but it's not empty. The remains reveal it was a nun, and worse yet is she was buried alive. I got shivers when I discovered that because I can only imagine how horrible that would be.
I love the writing style and how the theories are woven together until everything comes together like a puzzle. It's hard to see the picture in the beginning but it comes together in a chilling way in the end. I had a really hard time putting this book down which is a sure sign of a good book. I can't quite give it five stars though because it wasn't my all-time favorite. I don't think anything horror/suspense will ever make it to the top of my list.
This is apparently a part of a series, but you don't need to have read the others to understand this one, which was perfect for a quick read. I really enjoyed it.
