This thrilling and intriguing mystery novel got me hooked from the very first page. The beginning of the novel focuses on workers who unearth a coffin that was buried on a work site. This immediately captivated me and I couldn’t wait to learn more about this mystery. Once I was introduced to Detective Sergeant Jane Tennison, I was interested in learning more about her and how she will go about getting to the bottom of who was in the coffin and who put the person there in the first place. The cover reflects the suspenseful and mysterious tone of the novel and I love the colors the author chose to capture this. I am looking forward to reading more of this novel and getting to the bottom of the mystery!
