I really like the cover of this book! It's mysterious and hauntingly suspenseful looking. It seems fitting with the story line of the detective investigating on her own! I'm already hooked and have to read more! I have to know what everyone is hiding and trying to cover up. It's obvious to me that the detective is onto something and has a serious case on her hands. I also love when the main character goes above and beyond and beats the odds when most others are against them and trying to intervene at all cost! This book is definitely now at the top of my TBR list!
