I’m a huge fan of the Bones series by Kathy Reichs and this gave me similar vibes.
This is my first book by La Plante and it’s the 7th (?) in a series but doesn’t appear it needs yo be read in order. It’s set in London (I’m on the US) so the terminology and setup of the police force slightly confusing, but it’s done in a way that I can follow. The medical details are done in a way I could understand as well.
I liked the characters, especially Jane and Sam! I’m excited to read more to see what happened to the nun and who dun it!
