D.S. Jane Tennison has been asked to go to an excavation site near an old convent that was now closed and turned into luxury housing. The men working at the site had unearthed a coffin. Jane had the coffin removed and taken to the medical examiner to determine if there was a body inside and if they died a natural death. It seems that she hadn't.
