Flat writing, potentially interesting mystery
The mystery at the heart of this first impression is pretty good: a coffin is unearthed by construction workers, and the nun buried inside seems to have been buried alive. Could lead to some great cold case mystery solving.
However, the writing is...it's not that great. It's so very flat, explaining things in very simplistic and boring ways. The guy did this. He was wearing this. She did this. Then thought this. Then they did this. So they went there. This woman was wearing this. This guy seemed to a chauvinist. They opened the coffin. This is what was inside. etc, etc. There's no personality in the writing, no charm, no flavor, nothing. It reads like a script that needs to be injected with personality by actors on screen.
