This is part of a "serial" - the Tennison stories. That's not what gets the no from me.
While I like the genre - I'm not really a fan of the author, but I had read Judas Horse since I won it. I was put off by the story-telling, which is the same here.
And, although the cover is interesting, the premise of "no one believes the female detective" is the decider.
