Interesting beginning, and it must just get better from here

First of all, I always love a book that has a dark intro that starts in the middle of the story, and this has just that. Second, the Catacombs of Paris are such an interesting location for a book, doubly so for someone who is a travel YouTuber like one of the MCs is. I will say one thing, I normally don't like multiple POVs because it can get confusing really quickly, because there are details that one character mentions that another doesn't, so I always have trouble remembering who said or thought what. The author seems to include a lot of details that don't seem super important to the plot of the story, but that could change if I was able to read more of the story. There seems to be a romantic plotline occuring and the best friend of one of the MCs doesn't like the love interest, so I'm really interested to see how that would go. And the detail about the catacombs so far is really interesting and clear to imagine and it seems to allude to the devastation that could occur later.
